Blog world! How are you all doing?! I apologize that my entries have become so few and far in between. I've been battling the flu and thanks to the nurses in the health center, I feel much better. So much has happened since my last blog so where to start... Well events on campus are getting better and better! Football has been winning and basketball season has started. I have been to both home basketball games this season, and I love them! The games are also intense, and never have a dull moment. The spectators are always loud and cheery, I just wish I was one of the players they were cheering for. Hopefully next year I will be. After coming down with the flu, I missed an entire week of classes! Can you imagine how behind I was, and still am? With the help of my awesome professors I'm almost up to speed. They were all happy to meet with me to explain what I missed and all gave me adequate time to get my missed work turned in. All I have left is math, the tough stuff. I have to complete eight assignments on mathxl by Sunday night, and I am not looking forward to them at all. Well Thanksgiving is coming and I haven't been home since Labor Day, and I can't wait. While I'll miss NCCU, I'm excited to go home and see my family. Going home is going to be fun, one of my suitemates is coming with me. I hope my family doesn't embarrass me too bad in front of her, because they tend to do that like most families. I have a small fear of going home and seeing my mother's reaction to my three new tattoos I've acquired since being here. It shouldn't be such a big deal considering I left home with two that she knows about, right? Being home in my own room will be like a vacation much needed, because sharing a room is very difficult at times especially when you don't get along with your roommate. Luckily there's a lot to do on campus so we aren't often in our room at the same time. Anyways, Pre-Dawn is tomorrow!!!! They are also the best parties on campus, as well as the most tiring. If you aren't tired from partying until 5am, you will surely be tired from sweating in the blazing heat. When I return from Thanksgiving break, it'll be that time of the year again! My birthdayyyyy!!! I will finally be 18, and couldn't be more excited. I will no longer be made fun of for being the "underaged baby." Well it's about that time to prepare myself for math class...no way I can miss this class anymore than I already have!
